Descender
Rescue Device AG 10 Hub A
The descender rescue device AG 10 Hub A is
used for rescuing persons who meet with an accident while working at heights
or underground. The descender rescue device AG 10 Hub A has the following
features:
- Can be operated by one person
- Descent velocity is controlled by
centrifugal force (standard velocity approximately 0.7 m/s)
- Descent process can be decelerated at
any time
- Persons can be lifted (lifting
function)
- Fixing the descender device to a
suitable EN 795 compliant anchorage point using karabiners
- Descent is possible in shuttle
operation
The descender rescue device AG 10 Hub A is
not a fall arrester: The maximum descent height is 400 m or, for 2 persons,
100 m and the maximum descent load is 150 kg or, for 2 persons, 225 kg.

Descender
Rescue Device AG 10 K-T
Persons working at heights can descend
using the descender device AG 10 K T. The descender device AG 10 K T is not
a fall arrester.
The descender device AG 10 K T provides the
option of either fixing the device to an anchorage point and descending with
the help of another person using the device (a person descending with an
accident victim) or fixing the rope end joints to an anchorage point and
descending (persons can descend by moving the AG 10 K T).
The movement velocity is automatically
controlled by a centrifugal brake (standard velocity approximately 0.8 m/s).
The maximum descent height is 200 m or, for 2 persons, 100 m and the maximum
descent load is 150 kg or, for 2 persons, 225 kg.
While rescuing a person, the AG 10 K T also
offers an option of lifting a person manually or using the rope and fixing
the rope in the cam cleat. The rope can then be pulled safely. The existing
rope turning point makes eases moving an accident victim.
