SPECIFICATIONS
Dropping
- Folded inside the helicopter, the rescue
platform does not alter the flight performance during the final approach.
- It can be operated from the central trap
door of the helicopter or from the side door using a winch.
- The descent and opening of the platform
are entirely controlled by the operator. It can be either automatic or
manual folded out.
- The dropping and opening time is about
five seconds.
Evacuation
- Thanks to the 25 meters rope, the platform
enables the operation on uneven or hill areas (urban zone, forest,
mountain...).
- Rescue capacity is 10 civilians or 1500kg
(3306 lbs).
- Evacuation time (dropping - people on
board and secured) is less than one minute.
Extraction
- The open position of the platform is
secured by an automatic locking mechanism.
- People are tied to the platform with
safety belts (10 safety belts, supplied in the standard version).
- Extraction can be made at a maximum speed
of 180km/h.
- Good in-flight stability: neither pitching
effect or gyratory effect.
