System 951 - All-in-One Search System

This System 951-S has unique features of the all-in one unit which needs a single operator. Camera Head, Display and Audio system can be separated and assembled under the most demanding condition.

Features

1.Color Camera Head has motor actuated articulation which can be controlled by Control unit. Audio Sensor Unit is integrated into this Camera Head, as well.

Video Camera Housing is designed under water up to 50m. Moreover when Audio System is not in use, operator can lower the Audio Sensor unit up to underwater 50m, after sliding the Slide Cover of Housing of the Unit.

Model 951-S has Integrated lightweight 3m probe with Pistol Grip style Control Unit. Entire operation of system can be controlled by Control Unit.

2. Small Camera Head has strong twin Xenon Illumination bulbs which provides clear image over a distance of more than 6m even in total darkness. Xenon bulb of Camera Head basically has more than 24 hours life span. (At 75% of full power: 24H / At100% of full Power: 15H)

3. System 951, 951-S have unique feature that the Camera Head can be separated from Control Unit so that can be lowered into water or utilized in a variety of restricted space such as cracks or holes by adding 20m optional Extension Cable.

4. System 951-S has a unique Rechargeable Battery
a. Rechargeable Battery Model PC-3100 which has Power Residual Indicator provides 1 Hour and half operation. Only 15 minutes is needed for full recharge.

b. Belt Pack Battery Holder.
The unique Holder which provides longer operation. Operator can carry two Batteries on this Holder, so that this unit enables the operator to use the system from 2 to 3 hours.

Video + Audio + Thermal Life Detector

Proeye 951-SX Thermal Life Detector is designed with the input from rescue personnel.

This model has a unique feature which enable the operator to check the survivor’s body temperature and if the survivor is alive by using the Non Contact Infrared Thermometer installed in the Camera Head.

In actual search and rescue operations using the search camera system, rescue personnel are faced with the difficulty of confirming whether the victim who was found by the Video Search Camera is alive. With the PROEYE Model 951-SX, the operator can confirm the victim’s body temperature using the Infrared Non contact Thermometer which is installed in the compact Camera Head.

Moreover this system has two way communication system which detects faint breathing and feeble voices of the survivor to the operator.

● The sensitive Non contact Infrared Thermometer can detect the body temperature of the survivor. The operator can measure the point, using the laser pointer which is built into the camera head to obtain an accurate reading of the body’s temperature.

● The Camera design is small and compact (H:L= 35×48 mm), having IP 65 protection.

Operation

After confirmation of a victim through the image captured by the camera head, the camera head is brought to a position approx. 50 to 200 cm from the skin of the victim, and the correct body temperature of the victim will be shown on the remote display.

In fact, the body temperature of a human changes slightly according to the ambient temperature. Especially when the ambient temperature is low, the surface temperature of the skin of a rescue squad is measured in advance.

Based on that temperature, the actually measured body temperature of the victim is corrected to find the more correct body temperature.

From a medical point of view, the body temperature of a human and the condition of life have the following relations:

36.6°C … Basal body temperature of a healthy person
35.5°C … Low body temperature. The metabolic function is inactive.
34.0°C … Great Divide. Used to judge the possibility of recovery after rescue.
33.0°C … Gate of death. The victim will have hallucinations.

Based on the above, the life and the condition of health of a victim can be confirmed.
